Last Sunday, while strolling around Denden Town with Emma, I came across this Mega Size kit for sale at an amazing 2,980 yen! I mentioned how I’d been watching the series(1st gen writeup coming soon), and while I wasn’t looking Emma sneakily bought it for me – thank you Mrs! 🙂
For those who aren’t familiar, AGE-1 is Flit Asuno’s Gundam from the latest TV series, Gundam AGE. Yes, the show’s aimed at a younger audience, but don’t let that put you off – it’s still pretty great.
In the HUGE box, we have 20 runners, detail-wise and build looks similar to a High-Grade but on a ridiculously large scale. It also comes with a ‘Gunpla LED Unit’ which makes the chest, eyes and head all light up – looking forward to seeing that in action!
Just to give you a sense of how huge Mega Size kits are, here’s a size comparison of the foot pieces with a 100 yen coin.
This is going to be a BEAST!
