For Christmas this year, Emma got me the HG 1/144 Gundam Astray Red Frame – a kit I’ve made before, so why again?
In a word, modding! During my lazy sunday in Akihabara I came across a display cabinet full of modified M1 Astray kits and since then I’ve really wanted to give modifying a kit a go, and what better kit to work on than my all time favourite? I’ve got plenty planned for this including changes to the weapons, head and armour plus a whole new paintjob.
Red Frame is a kit I love, I can’t believe it’s been almost four years since I posted the HG Review here. I’m already well on the way to building this one, I hope the mods and colour scheme will come out well, watch this space!
