Happy Birthday, Gundam!

30 Years… 30 Years! That’s incredible for any franchise and it’s not going anywhere.

What an amazing three decades it’s been, there have been great times (Zeta), some not so great times(Turn A) and some weird as hell times(G Gundam!) It’s spawned countless games on multiple platforms, and arguably one of the most successful hobbie industries ever – GUNPLA!

Otanjou-bi Omedetou Gozaimasu! Here’s to the next 30 years!

    When Gundam was televised for the first time, it was shocking. It was novel.

    I can only imagine! Sadly I didn’t exist (and i doubt it’s ever been televised in the UK) It really was ahead of it’s time and even today inspires research in real-world fields, amazing!
