Today was incredibly windy and we even had a bit of snow! Hardly ideal conditions but what can you do!
Welcome to Shinsekai(新世界 / New World), this area just south of Den-den town is packed with cheap and delicious Kushikatsu restaurants including the original Daruma Kushikatsu! It’s also home to Tsutenkaku tower(通天閣 / “tower reaching to heaven”). In the past the area was considered a bit dangerous / run down by Japan standards, but I’ve never had any trouble. It’s a great place to eat, drink and enjoy an authentic bit of Osaka, check it out!
No iPod touch 6th gen announcement yesterday, so I’ll be trying to get more mileage out of my 5th gen, guess I’ll have a look for some addon lenses!
